This mosque is due to the unique and beautiful colorful art and its dance of light special at sunset and sunrise is popular for Iranian and foreigners. During the Iran Tour some monuments has great impression on us. One of these beautiful and amazing architectures of Iran Tourism Attractions is Nasir al-Mulk mosque. It is considered to be the most valuable mosque in Iran from the tile viewpoint and the view of building, especially tile and mogharnas.

This monument was built on the orders of Nasir al-Mulk, who was one of the lords and nobles of Shiraz.The architecture of this work was Muhammad Hasan Memar. Its construction lasted about 12 years, from 1255 to 1267 solar years. Restoration, and maintenance of this magnificent monument according to the international standards by The organization of restoration of historical works has been started and continued by Nasir al-Mulk’s endowment ( Mahmoud Ghavam )for many years.

In this mosque, the colors play the important role in the beauty of it and the colored glasses were used special; pink color because of this, it was called the Pink Mosque of Iran. Nassir al-Malek Mosque columns are one of the most popular columns of historical places in Shiraz, which there are a series of posts at the beginning of it.

Nasir al-Molk Mosque is an Iranian architecture in the Qajar era, which shines like a piece of jewelry, after which religious architecture stagnated. The entire roof, inside and outside the tile has been colored and written on the Qur’anic verses.

The glass of its windows has been colored so that in the morning, play a beautiful and enchanting shadow in the mosque.

Nasir al-Mulk Mosque includes most of the features of the traditional Islamic architecture, including the arched porch and central pool for ablution. But the coloring is very rare, and only a few other mosques, such as the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, have this coloring feature.

In the southeast corner of the mosque of Nasir al-Mulk, there is a shrine of the “Imamzadeh Zanjiry”. In the courtyard of the shrine, a long chain has been hung above the head at the entrance since it was built, this chain was used to identify the suspects, the suspected persons chained them to this place and whenever the chains were open that proved to be innocent. So these chains were named innocence chains.
